FAQ about soundcore Party Speaker
Can soundcore Party Speakers connect to my phone?
Yes, all of our party speakers have built-in Bluetooth connections to bring a strong wireless connection to your phone. Up to two devices can be linked to the speaker at the same time, to achieve smooth switching of music and allow you and your friends to take turns being the DJ for the night.
How loud should a party speaker be?
The ideal dB level for a party speaker will depend on the size of the event and whether it is indoors or outdoors. For smaller indoor events, a party speaker should be around 70-80 dB. For larger outdoor events, a loud party speaker can be up to 110 dB, which is loud enough that people will be able to dance and sing along, but not so loud that it will be difficult to carry on a conversation.
How many watts do I need for a party speaker?
It depends on the size of the venue, how many people will attend the party and what kind of atmosphere you want to create. Usually, 50 watts RMS is probably plenty at a home party. But if you want to really rock out outdoors, then you'll need more than 200 watts RMS.
A good rule of thumb is that you'll need about 10 watts per person. So, for a party of 100 people, you'll need 1,000 watts (10 x 100). But keep in mind that this is just a general guideline. If you're looking to create a more energetic atmosphere, you may want to go with 20 watts per person. But if you're looking for a more relaxed atmosphere, you may only need 5 watts per person.
