Excellent speaker.Top recommending.My only issue with this speaker is that it doesn't have background lights on volume +/- buttons.All other buttons have the lightning and it is very convenient to use them in the dark except this volume buttons which people use more often.So that thing will be great to change in the future.
Experiencing the same issue . Device speaker rattles when bass up is turned on . Really love this speaker but now I can't play it too loud , approaching the 3 year mark as well .
Motion boom is amazing speaker for the money. It has crisp and deep sound. But I guess I was unlucky and right side driver is now rattling. The company cannot provide a new drivers or at least try to repair it. So its really frustrating, when you want to keep it for longterm but you can not fix it. So it really deserves 5 stars, but I gave it 2, just because its useless after 2.5 years. Just out of warranty...

I tought that the reviews on youtube is some kind of joke, thats the Motion Boom beat the JBL Xtreme-3 (by Alan Ross: JBL Xtreme3 vs Soudcore Motion Boom)
But ist not a joke. This speaker is really good. A friends of mine got a JBL Xtreme3, I tested it, and the Motion Boom is on the same level by bass!!!!
You will dont dissapointed in this. Same level or better like JBL X-3. JBL-app havent got a good equalizer. If a JBL has a good app with equalizer, is beat the Motion Boom.
The Motion Boom bass on the same level like JBL-X-3, the mids, and highs are clearer for me. VERY GOOD DEAL. (The JBL Xtreme-3 is three times expensive.)
I use the Motion Boom a couple day ago, and I'm still amazed on its the pure clear highs, bass sound, in a little tube.
Pros: Stereo, passive radiators, big battery, solid, nice solid build quality, fantastic sound in little size. Heavy, thats mean quality speaker. Customisible equalizer. Fine app. The Soudcore signal processor is great in this speaker. This thing is so loud like one pair two way fine quality cabinet speaker. Nice box.
Cons: The handle is a bit big, but ist comfy. Its should be better a strap (more versatile), like JBL Xtreme3.
Overall: Love at first hear.
My advice: Buy it , test it, enjoy it.
