soundcore C40i | Flexible and Comfortable Clip-On Earbuds

Perfectly made and exactly what I wanted. A big improvement on the C30i model in every way.

Quality has excellent sound on music bass and calls. I use the plastic piece to keep it snugged in place. It doesn't irritate my ears. I think the vaule is worth it only if it lasted longer. So I wear 1 at a time before it starts dying than I switch it out. For it to last longer. 1 ear bud may last 5-6 hrs . So far its worth the value for your money.

I have loved the previous version the C30i for years so I decided to check out this upgraded model. The fit is more comfortable on my ear, but the sound quality feels worse and maybe tinny. The back of the earbud where you gesture has changed from a skin sensor on the C30i to a physical button you depress on the C40i. I do accidentally hang up when my earbud touches my neck during a phonecall on the C30i, so this is probably an upgrade. Battery life seems worse on this new version as well. I use mine heavily to listen to audiobooks in one ear only for long stretches of time. The C30i last a full day usually while I need to switch earbuds about half way through the day on these. I have fully submerged my C30i several times accidentally in pool water and gotten them wet in the shower and they have worked great after drying out. I have not yet had any accidents with my C40i so I can't speak to that yet but I am concerned the physical buttons on the back make them more vulnerable to water. Overall a great product but since the previous version is significantly less expensive I wouldn't do the upgrade again. If I lose or break this pair I will re-buy the c30i. If you download the app you can change the behavior of the buttons for media, but not for phone calls which is super annoying because I want disconnect to be harder since I do it by accident frequently.
